Saké Restaurant & Bar
Time Out called the bar snacks at Saké “bite-sized and pack a tasty punch” and they’re the right way to start an evening. Salty, crisp and built for sharing alongside the drinks list. For two, Time Out recommends “the melt-in-your-mouth teriyaki burger balls.”
The drinks list covers sake, Japanese whisky and cocktails alongside a full wine list. The menu beyond bar snacks spans fresh sashimi, cold and hot starters, and robata-grilled mains. Happy hour runs Monday to Friday from 3:30 to 5:30pm.

The Cut Bar & Grill
The Cut Bar & Grill on Argyle Street is worth knowing about for the bar alone. The Cut’s Gibson — house-made Gibson mignonette, Oyster Shell Gin, served with a Sydney rock oyster — is one of the more distinctive drinks in Sydney. The kitchen runs New York steakhouse classics and quality produce over wood fire for those staying for dinner.
Bar Patrón
Bar Patrón is the Mexican entry on the list. Taco platters with freshly pressed corn tortillas and fiery salsas, enmolada con pollo and soups are all built for the table to share. The Patrón-focused drinks list includes rare and limited bottles alongside the full cocktail menu.
